Rocky Top Comedy Contest Round 4

Competitors include: Michael Dougherty- Knoxville, TN Boston McCown- Knoxville, TN Zac Fallon- Knoxville, TN Ian Aber- Atlanta, GA Eric Steele- Hermitage, TN Eliot Rahal- Knoxville, TN Phillip Williamson- Knoxville, TN John Miller- Knoxville, TN Jonathan Craig- Huntsville, AL Mike Pablo- Knoxville, TN Dulce Sloan- Atlanta, GA The Rocky Top Comedy Contest is a stand-up comedy contest held every year in Knoxville, Tennessee. The was started in 2010 by comedian/comedy producer Matt Ward. The contest, now in it's 5th year, pits nearly 50 comedians against each other over 4 preliminary rounds. Three advance from each preliminary round to the finals. The contest is judged by audience as well as comedian vote. The comedian vote is weighted to offset the bringer element of the contest. This allows the finals to be as truly representative of the best stand-up peformers the contest has to offer. Three comics will advance from this round to the finals on Thursday November 6th at Scruffy City Hall.
